Hi All,

The R.E.A.C.H Newsletter, formerly known as the FocusPoint Newsletter, first came into being in January 2008. Aiming to bring the latest updates about events, to motivate through our writing and to share our experiences, the newsletter has since evolved to be more organized, sophisticated and thought-provoking.

R.E.A.C.H stands for Reaching Everyone And Changing Hearts. It hopes to complement the theme of Teens Club, which is F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Inspirational articles, reports on past events and prayer items are a few of the core segments in the newsletter.

You can now download the REACH Newsletter for Jan – Feb 2009.

Attitude

strengtheningyourgrip

“Attitude is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than what people do or say. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.

The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.”

Theme for 2009

TCCollages

We welcome you to SWCC Teensclub Website. Our theme this year is F.R.I.E.N.D.S. which stands for:
F – Forming
R – Relationships
I – wIth
E – Everyone
N – ‘N’
D – Developing
S – Self.

We hope that the teens would strive to form meaningful relationship, be it at school, in church, and wherever they could be.

The theme verse is

“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
Prov 18:24

This coming week: 23-Aug 2009

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that this Sunday is EFC Cleaning Sunday, i.e. everyone is to contribute and help clean up the whole EFC Gospel Centre.

EFC Gospel Centre has graciously let us use the place and it is only right and appropriate that we ensure that the place is clean and tidy. This is the very least we can do to return the kindness.
